On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is a distinct pleasure to extend a warm invitation to you to participate in the 7th International Geological Conference of Kurdistan (GeoKurdistan VII). We are delighted to welcome scholars, researchers, and professionals from around the world to the University of Sulaimani-New Campus, in November 2026. GeoKurdistan VII continues our tradition of nurturing the exchange of knowledge and ideas in the Earth sciences. Since 2012, this conference has evolved into a premier platform for presenting research, exchanging insights, and advancing the field of Earth Sciences.

This year’s theme, “Expanding the Frontiers of Earth Sciences,” reflects our collective commitment to exploring and understanding the geological characteristics of the Kurdistan Region and its neighboring areas. We look forward to examining recent advancements and embracing innovative perspectives that will shape the future of our discipline. We are honored to host distinguished speakers and presenters, as well as participants from diverse regions around the globe. With abstract submissions already underway, this conference offers a valuable scholarly journey for all contributors.
