Publication:

The Scientific Committee of the Conference will, having reviewed all the submitted full papers, propose to the editorial board of IBGM to consider the publication of full high-quality papers submitted for the conference, possibly also in a special issue.

Submission of poster:

The organizing committee welcomes a geological poster dealing with up-to-date scientific problems. The poster must be with conference template four weeks before the conference start poster templates will be sent via conference email: geokurdistan.conference@univsul.edu.iq

• Rock and Minerals: Stratigraphy, petrology and sedimentology.

• Water: Hydrology, hydrogeology, RS & GIS, environment and water chemistry.

• Engineering:  Engineering geology, rock mass engineering, soil mechanics.

• Mineral Resources: Ore Geology, geochemistry, mineralogy and Industrial geology.

• Petroleum Geology: Well logging, petroleum geology and reservoir geology.

• Climatology: Geography and climate changes.

• Environmental Geology: Environmental change, water chemistry and natural hazards.

• Geomorphology: Remote sensing, GIS and morphotectonic.

• Structural Geology: Fracture analysis, tectonic evolution and basin analysis.

Registration:

Researchers must register on-site one hour prior to start of the conference on November 5th, in order to get an author kit and a registration number.

Daily fee: Normal attendance for geologists and related directorate members

The registration fee includes 1: Conference attendance, program booklet, delegate bag, Certificate of attendance, Lunch break, Coffee break and farewell dinner Field trip excluded.
